Ken O'Bara BS, LMSW

Ken was born in California, but moved to south Georgia with his mother and sister at the age of 9 after his parent’s divorce. He is currently employed at a behavioral health agency working as a therapist on a crisis stabilization unit.   

      Ken has worked in many different fields throughout his life, which contributes to his life experience that he brings to his clinical practice.  He has played bass in several bands over the years; he has been a truck driver, a security guard, a construction worker, and owner/operator of a full-line vending service.  Ken made the decision to go back to school in 2013; he then went on to receive his bachelor of science in psychology and Master of Social Work degrees from Valdosta State University.

      Ken is married to an amazing wife Megan, and has two sons and a stepson. He is currently active in his church and community, and is passionate about helping people with their mental health and reaching their full potential.
